Jim and Sally Warden Parrott Lecture is Health Administration’s first large event in new building
The first large Health Administration-sponsored event in the College of Health Professions building was the Jim and Sally Warden Parrott Lecture in September 2019. Bruce Siegel, president and CEO of America’s Essential Hospitals, was the featured speaker. Siegel’s remarks, “Unfinished Business: Policy, Politics and Equity in American Healthcare,” generated a discussion among the event’s 115 attendees. Siegel was the keynote speaker for the Malcolm T. MacEachern Memorial Lecture and Luncheon at the American College of Healthcare Executives congress in March. Linda Hines, CEO of Virginia Premier Health Plan, introduced Siegel. The lecture is supported by an endowment created by Sally Warden Parrott and Virginia Premier.
