The Department of Nurse Anesthesia’s Class of 1984 celebrated its 35th reunion in October 2019 with a weekend full of activities. A tour of the College of Health Professions building and simulation suite was followed by dinner at The Tobacco Company Restaurant and a Sunday brunch. Some classmates then traveled to the Nurse Anesthesiology Faculty Associates conference in Williamsburg, Virginia, for the rest of the week. In honor of their 35th reunion, several classmates raised money to name a student study area on the nurse anesthesia floor of the new building. They include Richard Boren, David Carlson, William Chisholm, David “Jack” Freeman, Wesley Mahan, John Nelson, Mary Piemonte, Doris Sheils, Bruce Weiner and Cyndi White-Haight.
